Fridge failed on 3/15/2021, two years old. Purchased a Kenmore Elite in 2016. Our model number was 79551833410. Was told compressor is bad and possible other problems. Getting a repairman to the house to fix has been impossible and we repeatedly hear the issue of compressor issues with Kenmore Elite/LG brands from those we are able to speak to. We purchased a Kenmore Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Grab-N-Go Model 795.70332.410 on 11/26/2016 from sears.com. He said no this is the only compressor for this refrigerator. v. LG Electronics U.S.A. Inc., Case No. Contacted Sears and paid service fee to tell me the compressor was dead snd they’d order parts that were covered under the 5 year guarantee but I’d have to pay for the installation. same problem with my kenmore refrigerator.
